I used to have foot warts and I can tell you, they are painful and very hard to live with, hard to walk and sometimes hard to sleep. I remember laying awake at night, unable to sleep because of the tender spots on my heel. I would have to turn over on my stomach and let my feet hang off the edge of the bed. That’s was the only way to relieve the tender pressure.

I had plantar warts for over 25 F”ing YEARS and I tried everything to get rid of them. I tried all the creams, gels, salycilic acid, freezing, burning…

Nothing Worked, so I went in for Sugery and had them removed with a laser scalpal. First, the podiatrist shot novacaine directly into my tender heel and warts. Ouch!

Then the Laser started in and clouds of toxic smoke from burning flesh filled the air. I could still feel a little pain as he was cutting away the warts and I remember saying to myself, “I sure hope this works, cause I’m never gonna do it again”.

After the surgery, a large part of my heel was missing and I had a deep cavity of open flesh, an open wound if you will. Gauge bandages were stuffed into the hole where my heel used to be and wrapped with more gauze to secure it in place. It was very difficult and painful to walk and I was issued a pair a crutches so I could get around. It took about 6-weeks to fully heal the wound and finally I could walk normally for the first time in a long time. I remember being so happy and grateful about it! But, then things changed…

After about a year the warts began to grow back, right in the same spots as before, I was crushed… I didn’t know what to do about these sickening warts! Plantar Wart Trimming Tools

My foot warts grew back, larger and more painful than ever. I was forced to gather up some tools so I could live with them and be able to walk and do my job as a long-haul trucker.

The warts on my heel prevented me from resting my heel on the floor board as I was pressing on the foot feed (gas pedal). So, I just had to keep it floored most the time. This got me a few speeding tickets but it was the only way I could function.

Once a week I would have to trim my foot warts with power tools. I would walk around on the carpet with no shoes on for a while to dry my foot warts out so they could be sanded away with the dremel tool. It worked really well actually.

Sounds funny, but failure to maintain these warts in a consistent manner would mean extreme pain and discomfort as the warts continue to grow and protrude from the rest of your foot. This creates pressure points and hurts like hell if you happen to step wrong and put too much weight on the tender areas of your foot.

I also used a sanding block that I made from a 2×4 and a piece of sandpaper. This worked good too. So, I had the warts under control for the time being but I need a more permanent solution, a remedy, a cure, someway to get rid of these nasty plantar warts forever.

I resolved not to give up and to try everthing under the sun until I found something that would work.

I tried something one time I remember, it was a chemical defoliator. WoW, it stripped away the first three layers of skin and made my heel raw. I couldn’t walk for two days and the warts were still there, only now I didn’t dare touch them with the sanding block for fear of crying out in pain. After I healed from that experiment I kept trying different salves and cremes because I knew I would find the cure eventually. Then I did find the right stuff!

Two more weeks and I could see a reduction in the size of the warts and the smaller ones were beginning to disappear. After six weeks of using derman’s the planter warts were completely gone… That was six years ago and the warts have never returned.

I also tried Dermans on finger warts and it did the same trick. I think it may be the zinc as an active ingredient that makes it work, I am really not sure but I do know that it worked for me, it’s also cheap (inexpensive) and best of all, you don’t have to go under the knife.
